Vintage Olivetti Divisumma 18 Portable Electronic Calculator – Perfect Condition, Complete with Original Packaging
This is an exceptional find – a vintage Olivetti Divisumma 18 portable electronic calculator from 1973, in near-mint condition. You won’t find a better example of this iconic calculator anywhere outside a museum or private collections. Designed by the renowned designer Mario Bellini, the Divisumma 18 was a revolutionary leap in portable technology when it was first released, and this particular specimen is a true testament to that innovation.
Key Features:
Working Condition: This calculator is fully functional and works perfectly, a rare feature for vintage electronics. It comes complete with the original charger and a rechargeable battery, so you can start using it right away!
Original Box & Packaging: Both the calculator and charger come with the original box, complete with styrofoam packaging, ensuring its safe storage and transport. The power cables are included, and everything works as it should.
Minimal Wear: While other examples of the Divisumma 18 often suffer from deteriorated rubber keypads that leave a dark haze, this one is in remarkable shape. The rubber on this model feels "unreal", retaining its original texture with almost no wear. The keypad shows only two small spots of red ink and slight darkening on a couple of keys—evidence of its history, but still extremely minimal.
A Stunning Design: The orange plastic exterior is vibrant and eye-catching, staying true to the retro aesthetic of the '70s. Olivetti’s attention to detail in both function and appearance is evident in the smooth feel of the keys and the clean design lines. This calculator was made with the user in mind, providing an intuitive, smooth experience every time it’s used.
A Museum-Worthy Piece: The condition of this calculator is so pristine that it truly feels like a piece of history that belongs in a museum. It’s a perfect representation of Bellini's brilliant design philosophy, and a must-have for collectors of vintage electronics or Olivetti fans.
Whether you're an avid collector of vintage technology, a fan of Olivetti’s design legacy, or someone looking for a stunning functional piece to display, this Divisumma 18 is an unbeatable choice. Don’t miss out on the chance to own a truly unique and pristine example of mid-century design. A piece like this doesn’t come around often—this is the best you’ll find.

Vintage Items
All items in my shop are vintage and usually pre-owned, which means they may show some signs of wear from everyday life. I make every effort to highlight any noticeable flaws, but minor imperfections in patina etc may not be documented. While I try to be thorough, I may occasionally overlook something. My goal is for you to love your purchase as much as I love curating these pieces. Exchanges and Returns may not always be possible, but I will always try to find the most agreeable solution for my customers.
